After you’ve finished all the immigration and custom formalities, walk through the arrival’s lounge to be met by our representative who will be holding a placard that displays our company logo, ready to usher you into the embrace of your booked hotel in Arusha.

Having arrived at the hotel, he will assist you with check-in formalities so you can relax and unwind after what’s probably been a long flight. Unwind in the comfort of your hotel at leisure and anticipate the best of what Tanzania has in store for you in the next 9 days of your Tanzania safari.

Meal Plan: Dinner

Following breakfast, leave for Tarangire National Park for a full day game-viewing drive. Dotted with gigantic ancient baobab trees, this mesmerizing wildlife reserve is part of an extensive ecosystem where animals roam freely, and stretches southeast of the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park around the Tarangire River, providing an excellent opportunity for an authentic and stylish game-viewing experience.

It is also considered a classic dry-season destination, particularly between July and October, when it boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the country’s northern safari circuit. Often termed the elephant playground, due to its highest number of elephants that has been recorded here and can be easily observed until October when the short-wet season prompts migration. Among other renowned mammalian fauna that you may spot are the hartebeests, wildebeests, zebras, elands, lesser kudus, gazelles, waterbucks, giraffes, impalas, leopards and rhinos throughout the year.

Enjoy a well-prepared packed lunch in the afternoon at a designated picnic location before resuming your game-viewing activity. As the early evening sets in, proceed to your well-appointed lodge for dinner and overnight.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Following breakfast, we head to Lake Eyasi with the focus to spend some prime time with the Hadzabe, who continue to uphold traditional hunting and gathering practices. The experience offers a fulfilling detour. The Hadzabe, also known as the Hadza, speak a language characterized by clicks, possibly related to that of South Africa’s San.

Whilst here, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in various activities that are integral to the daily lives of the Hadza people. They will be happy to demonstrate their hunting techniques, showcasing how they shoot arrows, and if you’re interested, you can try your hand at shooting a few arrows as well. The women, on the other hand, offer insights into their fruit-gathering activities.

Both of these common daily practices occur in the morning, providing you with a genuine and non-touristic experience. It is through these activities you will gain valuable insights into many aspects of their lifestyle firsthand. We return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After an early morning breakfast, we head to Ngorongoro Crater and make a brief stop at the crater view. Afterwards, we descend nearly 2,000 feet to the crater floor which spans an expansive 102 square miles. The crater itself boasts impressive dimensions of about 20 kilometers wide and ranking among the largest calderas on earth. Within its steep, unbroken walls unfold a captivating drama, where lions, elephants adorned with exceptionally large tusks due to the fertile volcanic soil, buffaloes, and various plains herbivores such as wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, zebras, and reedbucks roam the grasslands, swamps, and forests on the crater floor.

Encounters with black rhinos are also common, adding to the whole experience. In the afternoon, we take our packed lunch at a designated picnic area before resuming the game drive afterwards. In the early evening, we ascend the crater walls and drive back to the lodge for dinner and a good night sleep.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Following breakfast early in the morning, we depart for Serengeti – a globally-renowned game reserve that hosts a remarkable mammalian diversity, with hundreds of thousands of them roaming freely in unfenced African savannah. Here, the predators reign supreme. Nearly eight thousand spotted hyenas alongside three thousand majestic lions, distinguished by their characteristic black manes can be spotted. In addition to these apex predators, cheetahs, leopards, and bat-eared foxes also dominate the ecosystems.

With over 520 avian species, the park is a haven for bird lovers. Within distant horizons and open plains, the sight of wildebeests, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, and playful bat-eared foxes bathed in the morning sun is unforgettable. Experience the tranquility of the wilderness, appreciate the interconnectedness of life and cherish the privilege of witnessing nature’s wonders firsthand.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Savor a final sumptuous breakfast at the lodge this morning after a final early morning game drive – a perfect grand finale to your Tanzania safari.

After breakfast, your driver guide will be readily available to transfer you to the nearby airstrip in Seronera for your flight to Zanzibar. The flight takes approximately 2 hours, offering a great aerial experience of the country’s geographical makeup. Upon arrival, our representative will pick you up from the airport and to your hotel in Stone Town. Zanzibar lives up to every expectation as a rare travel gem. Whether you thirst for cultural immersion, exhilarating diving adventures, or simply a serene beach retreat, Zanzibar has it all.

Enjoy a leisurely evening at your lodge, anticipating the delightful beach experiences that await you in the upcoming two days on the paradisiacal Island of Zanzibar.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

These two days focus on the opportunities to bask in a laid-back beach retreat or many micro tours to must-visit destinations on the Island. Explore the Stone Town – a UNESCO World Heritage site, where architectural influences echo the rich mix of cultures, from Portuguese and Arab slave masters to Swahili influences prevalent in the local population. Your guide will lead you through the vibrant market, the serene 19th-century cathedral, and the labyrinthine streets, revealing the distinct styles of Arab and Indian residences.

You may also opt for a spice tour on the 9th day, which offers an unforgettable experience of the Island’s countryside. Engage with rural communities, gaining firsthand insights into their daily lives, and savor a Swahili lunch meal before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The concluding chapter of this wonderful 10-day Tanzania safari is here. Today, savor a delicious breakfast before being escorted to the airport for your homeward flight or onward travels. Should your flight be scheduled for later hours, we’ll arrange for you to have lunch at the hotel before departure.
