- Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Begin your final day with a delightful breakfast, setting the stage for another captivating adventure to Lake Manyara National Park. After breakfast, we depart for Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch for a full day game drive. The park spans a total area of 330 km², while the Lake Manyara, from which the park derives its name, stretches for 230 km², and is an incredible setting to spend some prime time while on wildlife adventure in Tanzanian.
Lake Manyara is home to Tanzania’s tree-climbing lions who can be seen resting in large acacias to escape the arid heat, however spotting them is a game of luck. But apart from simply being a tree-climbing lion sanctuary, it also boasts an array of habits and other life forms, including countless of flamingos that often flock to the soda ash lake. During certain seasons, you can see the shoreline turning pink with millions of these beautiful birds flocking it.
As you enter the park, the lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees begin to set the mood for what is waiting ahead. The park is also home to one of the highest olive baboon populations anywhere in Africa, as well as over 350 different avian species. The game drive will go on till evening with a small break for picnic lunch. Watch out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, zebra and the elusive leopard. Following the game drive, you will head back to your lodge in Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) where a delicious dinner awaits you.

- Day 3 - 5: Serengeti National Park
The fourth day begins with a compelling game drive en route to one of Africa’s most celebrated game reserves – the legendary Serengeti National Park. After an early morning breakfast, we depart Ngorongoro Highlands and proceed toward the Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). The fifth and sixth day allow time to explore the breadth of what the Serengeti offers. An alternative adventure could be an optional hot air balloon flight, offering a unique perspective of the park.
Serengeti, a singular safari destination in Africa, is famous for having the largest intact land-based ecosystem on the planet. Widely known for hosting the largest populations of leopard, cheetah, and lion in all of Africa, the name Serengeti, meaning “Endless Plains” in Maasai language, perfectly encapsulates the essence of its vastness. The scale becomes apparent as the plains serve as the stage for the world’s most extensive annual overland migration of terrestrial wild animals, covering more than 800 kilometers.
Depending on the season, there is an opportunity to observe this natural cycle as over 1.5 million wildebeest move steadily across the plains alongside various antelope species. Predator activity follows these movements closely, creating consistent wildlife observation prospects throughout the year.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Day 6: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
The day starts early with a final morning game drive before breakfast, making use of the cooler hours when wildlife activity is at its highest. This last game drive allows time to observe predators returning from night hunts. Afterward, we head back to the lodge for brunch, check out, and begin the drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in time for lunch and spend the remainder of the day at leisure by pool or massage. Dinner is served later in evening with plenty of time to rest for the next day’s activities.
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early morning breakfast, we will make a descent into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor with a depth of over 2,000 feet. Today’s game drive will be an action-packed experience. It is important that you keep your camera ready at all times. The African Big 5: elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, lions, and leopard are found in plenty.
The crater has a good population of lions, with well-defined territories; wildebeest, zebra, hyenas, and black rhino. Most of the animals are resident, benefiting from the many sources of year-round waters and fertile soil. Buffalo, Thomson’s gazelle and eland are also present in large numbers. Hippos are mostly found in pools and swamps. Flamingos can often be seen in Lake Magadi, which occupies part of the crater floor. Following a picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo Pool, we will begin a steep ascent to the crater walls and head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Day 8: Ngorongoro Nca – Lake Eyasi
Today, you will wake up pretty early before sunrise, and make a visit to the Hadzabe tribe near Lake Eyasi, one of the last true nomadic tribes in Africa. After briefing you about the tribe, you will join them in their daily morning routines. This experience is one of the most authentic and does not feel touristic by any means, and definitely promise to be the highlight of your safari. The experiences you have with the Hadza men can either be joining the men in their daily hunting, or the women in their fruit gathering session. In either of them, you will learn about many aspects of the Hadzabe way of living.
After finishing the activities with the tribe, we will visit the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a season shallow salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and take our picnic lunch. As the day comes to a close, we head to the lodge in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and a good night sleep.

- Day 9: Mto Wa Mbu – Tarangire National Park – Transfer to Arusha
Today begins after breakfast at the lodge before checking out and go on a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park. The park is best known and unique for its ancient baobab-dotted savannah by which you will be welcomed as you begin your game drive. The game drive goes on util late afternoon and includes a small stop for a picnic lunch.
The park derives its name from the Tarangire River that flows through it, and attracts a lot of different wild animals such as elephants, giraffe, lions, antelopes and zebras. Depending on the circumstances of the day, you might be able to spot elusive animals like the climbing python. The park is also known for hosting the highest concentration of elephants anywhere in Africa. Following a long day in the park, we check out and return to Arusha, from where you will be dropped off at the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journeys.
